Red Head Community Group
Red Head Community Group was established in 2000 to enhance the environment and amenity of Red Head. It is an incorporated group with a committee elected by members. The current President is Bill Gilles 6559 3295. New members are welcome. It cost $5 to join and $2 yearly. Projects: Red Head road at the western end especially around the water tank was in a pretty neglected state. The group weeded and planting all of the trees and shrubs and maintain and mow the area which was in a pretty neglected state.
The solar panels project provided information and advice to those interested in converting.This has been a great project with many panels appearing on house roofs in Red Head and beyond. If you want to know more call Leo on 6559 2028.
